Below are descriptions of Liberty teams and coaches for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. Some information has been provided by the coaches.
10U Liberty – Coach Jeff Parker
- Coach Parker has been the Head Coach for Loudoun Liberty 10U Futures – Spring 2019; previously WLGSL Nationals – Fall 2019, WLGSL 10U Force Fall/Spring 2018
- This team is primarily a 2009 age group team but will take 2010 players that are the right fit.
- This is a young group of girls who were just introduced into travel softball this past Spring, playing four tournaments and several double headers. They finished the Spring season with a very respectable 9-9-1 record, playing C level and B level 10U tournaments and teams. Six girls from this team combined with six girls from the older 10U Liberty team to play the PONY National tournament to finish the season; coming in second place.
- We are looking to play six tournaments this coming Fall and possibly have a few scrimmages/double headers (B level).
12U Liberty Black – Coach Chris DeLancey
The 2018-2019 season was Coach DeLancey’s first season with the Liberty program as the head coach of the 10U Liberty team. Prior to joining the Liberty program he had the following coaching experience:
- Head coach for the Spring 2018 10U WLGSL Nationals All-Star team,
- Head coach – 2 seasons for 10U WLGSL house teams,
- Assistant Coach – 2 seasons for 8U WLGSL house teams,
- Head coach – 2 seasons for ULLL t-ball programs, and
- Head coach – 2 seasons for Mt. Crawford Senior League (13-15) baseball programs.
Team Age Information: The 12U Liberty Black team is primarily a 2008 age group team. While we would like to maintain this age group so they can grow, develop and move through the program together, we would consider an older or younger player with the right skill level, work ethic, and leadership attributes (specific to older players).
Team History/Level: The 12U Liberty Black team is currently rising from 10U. Last year was our first season together. We started the fall of 2018 as a C level team but quickly moved up to B level after 3 straight 2nd place finishes followed by winning the Breast Cancer Awareness USSSA Tournament. Soon after we moved up to B level, we won 4 straight tournaments, the USSSA Stingrays Spring Classic, the NSA Outer Banks Classic, the USSSA VA State Championship, and the USSSA Queen of Diamonds Tournament. Our plan for the 2019-2020 season is to start out at the B level but to quickly transition to Open tournaments by the end of the fall/early spring.
We have built a hardworking team of players, coaches, and families. Our coaching staff brings to the team a wealth of knowledge, rooted in teaching softball fundamentals that compliment each other well. In addition to making our girls better softball players, we value leadership and teamwork. We have also developed a great rapport with our players’ families built on communication. Players play, coaches coach, parents cheer.
12U Blue – Coach Jazmyn Rohrer
Coach Rohrer is new to the Loudoun Liberty program, but is a veteran of Loudoun County softball and coaching. As a graduate of Woodgrove High School she was a four-year varsity player under coach Joe Spicer and the leading pitcher on the Virginia State Championship team.

She returned to her Alma Mater as assistant JV Coach of the Woodgrove Wolverines and part of coach Spicer’s staff.
Woodgrove Head Softball Coach Joe Spicer will also be assisting Jaz in getting this team off to a great start.
12U Blue is a new team and tournament level will ultimately be determine based on ability of the assembled team.
14U Liberty Black – Coach Mario Ordaz
Coach Mario brings a great amount of coaching experience to the Liberty organization with 4 years as a Head Coach in the WLGSL organization. Mario was the Head Coach for the 12U Nationals All-Stars this summer. The 12U Nationals closed out a successful Summer 2019 season with a Championship in the Blue Gray Summer Shootout and a 2nd place finish in the NOVA NIT.

Coach Mario will be entering his inaugural season this Fall as the Head Coach of the 14U Loudoun Liberty Black team. The 14U Loudoun Liberty Black team will consist of a majority of 2006 birth year players, but will roster 2005 players.
