Liberty finished the Fall 2018 with a dramatic finish, coming from behind in the last inning of the championship game to win the 14U Open Military Appreciation Tournament in Nokesville, VA. After taking the lead 5-0 against the Krunch, Liberty let it slip away and found themselves down 8-6 as they came to bat in the top of the 7th inning. The offense exploded for a 5 run inning to take the lead 11-8. That would be the final score as Liberty shutdown Krunch in the bottom of the 7th.

In game two, however, they wouldn’t even make it out of the bottom of the first inning before rain forced the cancellation of the remainder of the tournament. Off to a great start though!
