Blue Goes to the Beach Blast Showcase

Liberty Blue traveled south to Myrtle Beach, SC for the Beach Blast Showcase and their final event of the fall season. On Saturday the girls were lead by college coaches and played hard, going 2-1 in scrimmages against 14U & 16U teams. On Sunday, however, the team made sure they ended on a winning note, going 3-0 in single-elimination bracket play. The final was never in doubt as Liberty won 12-3.

This gives the team a 32-5-1 record for the fall season including two championships at the 16U Open level. They will take a break before starting up the summer season following the conclusion of high school play.

16U Black Takes the Crown in Crown Trophy Fall Challenge

Loudoun Liberty Black 16U finished their fall season as champions, winning the Crown Trophy Fall Challenge 16B Gold Bracket. The girls braved the cold and a brutal schedule to go 5-0 over the weekend. The team only gave up 8 runs the entire weekend, outscoring their competition 33-8. They capped the weekend off winning the championship game 9-0.  The entire team played well all weekend, getting great hitting, pitching and defense in every game.
Congratulations girls! Great way to finish a fantastic season.

10U Wins Military Appreciation Tournament

10U Liberty headed south to Manassas where they competed in the Military Appreciation tournament. The team battled suddenly cooler temps along with the competition. The team was a juggernaut, going 6-0 and outscoring opponents 92-16. They took the championship in a dominant 18-2 win. Congratulations and what a great way to end the fall season!
