Liberty Blue


Loudoun Liberty Blue is a second-year team competing at the 14U and 16U levels. As part of the Loudoun Liberty organization, the team is associated with Western Loudoun Girls Softball League (WLGSL) and the majority of players come from Western Loudoun County. The team returns eight players from the 2018-2019 14U Loudoun Liberty Blue team that posted a record of 74-17-2 with 7 championships and an additional 6 top 3 finishes in 14U Open and 16U Open play.

The team competes in tournaments sanctioned by USSSA, PONY, USA Softball, NSA and Top Gun Sports locally, regionally and nationally. The team is led by Head Coach Todd Schaaf with a focus on discipline, teamwork and core softball skills.

Liberty Blue Wins Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament for the 3rd Year in a Row in 3 Age Divisions

Loudoun Liberty Blue competed in the annual Breast Cancer Awareness tournament which takes place in Loudoun County each October in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month. For the third consecutive year the team walked away with the championship, in their third age bracket. In 2017 the team won the 12U Open tournament, in 2018 the 14U Open tournament, and this year they took the 16U Open trophy. What a streak!

Liberty Blue Seeking Additional Players

Loudoun Liberty Blue is seeking additional players to fill out its roster. The team is primarily 2005 players, but is interested in any players 2003 – 2006.
